Cast, Finistère

Cast ( Kast Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department in 1593 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located in the west of Brittany, about ten kilometers east of the Atlantic coast near the Bay of Douarnenez, five kilometers south-west of Châteaulin, 18 kilometers north of Quimper and 36 kilometers southeast of Brest ( straight line ).

Infrastructure

The nearest ski runs on the highway-like -laned road E 60 (Nantes- Brest) are located at Châteaulin and Briec. In Châteaulin there is a regional railway station on the predominantly parallel railway line and at Brest a regional airport.
