Castelo is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the 1st Bairro the capital Lisbon. It includes the walled courtyard of the Castelo de São Jorge. Founded as the community 1147. This makes it the oldest and with 367 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011), also one of the smallest municipalities of Lisbon.
