Cataingan, Masbate

Cataingan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Masbate, in the Administrative Region V, Bicol. It has 49,078 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 36 barangays. Classified as a congregation of the second income class in the Philippines. The community center is located about 62 km southeast of the provincial capital of Masbate City and is accessible via the coastal road from there. Your neighboring municipalities are Placer in the southwest, Palanas in the northwest and Pio V. Corpuz in the southeast. The long coastline of the municipality lies on the Samar Sea.
