Catalina is a census -designated place in Arizona, United States, in Pima County. The village is located about 40 kilometers north of Tucson.

Traffic

Catalina is traversed in a north-south direction from the Arizona State Route 77, from about 5 km to the north, the Arizona State Route 79 branches off to the northwest direction.

Tourism

The village lies on the northern edge of the Catalina State Park, which connects in turn to the eastern boundary of Coronado National Park. North of the town there are two golf courses, the Mountain View Golf Club and the Saddlebrooke Golf Course. Saddlebrooke is among other things a housing development for retirees.
