Catharina (crater)

Catharina is an impact crater on the Moon's front west of the Mare Nectaris, west of the crater Beaumont and south of Cyrillus. The crater is heavily eroded and the crater rim often superimposed, particularly in the large craters Catharina P.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after Saint Catherine of Alexandria.
