Catherine of Luxembourg-Saint-Pol

Catherine of Luxembourg- Saint-Pol († probably March 1492 ) was, by marriage, from 1457 to 1458 Duchess of Brittany.

Life

Catherine was a daughter of Count Peter I of Saint-Pol and his wife Marguerite des Baux. She was born on July 2, 1445, the third wife of become known as the Constable de Richemont later Duke Arthur III. Brittany and came out in December 1445 to Nantes, where her husband hosted holiday celebrations. Then she lived in Parthenay and went again until 1457 with her husband to Brittany, as his nephew, Duke Peter II, had become ill. However, Arthur died at the December 26, 1458 at the age of 65 years in Nantes.
