Cathy Guisewite
Cathy Lee Guisewite ( born September 5, 1950 in Dayton ( Ohio)) is an American comic book artist.
Guisewite grew up in Midland ( Michigan) and was on the Midland High School and then the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In 1972, she received her bachelor's degree in English.
She drew addressed in the life of a modern woman since 1976, the comic strip Cathy, which humorous stories of daily life. In the late 1980s there were even three animated TV specials with Cathy, what Guisewite won an Emmy. On October 3, 2010, the last episode was released by Cathy after 34 years.
Cathy Guisewite lives with her husband, the director and screenwriter Christopher Wilkinson in Los Angeles, California. She has a daughter and a stepson.
