Cato Salonianus
Marcus Porcius Cato Salonianus (* 154 BC) or Salonianus Cato was a Roman politician and son of Marcus Porcius Cato the censor.
Life
Salonianus received his cognomen because of his mother, Salonia, who was the daughter of a freedman. Marcus Porcius Cato Licinianus His brother, however, was the son of Licinia, the wife of the old Cato. Little is known about Salonianus ' lives. He had a son of the same name, which in turn was the father of Cato Uticensis. Salonianus died during his praetorship.
