Caustic Christ

Caustic Christ was an American Hardcore-/Anarcho-Punk/-Crustcore-Band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The band was founded in 2000 by guitarist Eric Good and bassist Corey Lyons, who both played at this time in the band Aus-Rotten, and Bill Chamberlain after he got out of his band React and moved from Connecticut to Pittsburgh. Together with drummer Ron Wingrove they began rehearsing, took a demo and played smaller, local concerts. But shortly after, the band hit a hard fate, as Ron was approached in early 2001 by a car and its position on the drums could no longer perform due to permanent brain damage. During this time, jumped Greg Mairs, who played in Submachine, as a temporary replacement, but was ultimately the permanent drummer for the band. On 5 May 2009 gave " Caustic Christ " their last concert in Pittsburgh and dissolved then. Greg Mairs is now a member of the band " Short Dark Strangers" and Corey Lyons plays " Kim Phuc ".
