Centralia is an inhabited unincorporated community in Trinity County in the U.S. state of Texas with 53 inhabitants.

History

Centralia is located between Apple Springs and Nogalus Prairie in northeastern Trinity County. This situation has the place owes its name. The area was first settled during the Civil War. In 1885 the town had a population of 150 and several sawmills and flour mills. Centralia grew to 300 inhabitants in 1914. In 1990, the place was only a scattered village with 26 inhabitants, in 2000 there were 53
