Cerro de los Siete Colores

The Cerro de los Siete Colores is a mountain in Purmamarca, in northwestern Argentina. Mountain and City are in the department Tumbaya in the province of Jujuy. The mountain is located on the western edge of Purmamarca and has a height of about 2460 meters.

The different shades of color caused by the high concentration of various minerals in the rock. The mountain, with its variety of colors typical of the pastel-colored, largely devoid of vegetation mountains of the Puna.
