The Čertovica (Hungarian Ördöglakodalma - Hago ) is a mountain pass in the Low Tatras in Slovakia. It connects the upper valleys of Hron on the south (Region Horehronie ) and Waag on the north side ( region Liptau ). Apart from the border passes in Donovaly and Vernár he is the only motorable pass in the main ridge of the Low Tatras, and of the highest motorable pass in Slovakia.

Seen Geomorphologically separates the pass the two subdivisions of the Low Tatras: the Ďumbierske Tatry in the west and the Kráľovohorské Tatry in the east. At the summit there is a small winter sports area, but is also a starting point for summer activities.

The pass is both the state road I/72 and the international trail E8, which is referred to here as the trail heroes of the Slovak National Uprising ( SNP hrdinov cesta ).
