Cerveno Zname Sofia

DSO Tscherweno sname Sofia ( Bulgarian Доброволна спортна организация Червено знаме, short ДСО Червено знаме, German volunteer sports organization Red Flag ) was a Bulgarian sports club based in Sofia, the Hockey Division 1951-1963 nine Bulgarian champion. 1963, the club was incorporated into the Army Sports Club CSKA Sofia.

History

The association was created in 1949 from the merger of Sredets Sofia (1942 based) and Sportist Sofia (1939 based). The name is derived from Sofia district Tscherweno sname. 1951 won the ice hockey men's team the first Bulgarian league title in club history. In the following years the club dominated the Bulgarian Hockey League and won to 1963 eight more national champion.

1963, the club was incorporated into the Army Sports Club CSKA Sofia, who then for some years CSKA Sofia Tscherweno sname called.
