Bulgarian Hockey League

The Bulgarian Hockey League (Bulgarian: Държавното първенство по хокей на лед ) is the highest ice hockey league in Bulgaria. The League, in 1952 the Bulgarian national champion is played, organized by the Bulgarian Hockey Federation BULIHF. Master record is the HK Slawia Sofia with a total of 20 titles.

History

The Bulgarian Hockey League took in 1952 on the operation of gambling. Since then, the competition will be hosted with the exception of the season in 1957/58 year. All teams who participated in the 2008 /09 season in the league, came from the country's capital, Sofia. The record champions HK Slawia Sofia decided as last year the championship before the HK CSKA Sofia for themselves.
