The 1985/86 season was the 34th season of the Bulgarian Hockey League, the highest Bulgarian Hockey League. Champion for the 13th time overall in club history the HK CSKA Sofia.

Mode

In the main round each of the five teams played a total of 20 games. The top two finishers of the main round qualified for the championship final. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
