The 1989/90 season was the 38th season of the Bulgarian Hockey League, the highest Bulgarian Hockey League. Champion for the ninth time overall in club history Levski Spartak Sofia.

Mode

In the main round each of the five teams played a total of 24 games. The top two finishers of the main round qualified for the championship final. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
