1996–97 Bulgarian Hockey League season
The 1996/97 season was the 45th season of the Bulgarian Hockey League, the highest Bulgarian Hockey League. Master became the tenth total time in club history the HK Slawia Sofia.
Mode
In the main round each of the five teams played a total of eight games. The top two finishers of the main round qualified for the championship final. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
