César Charlone (politician)

César Rodríguez Charlone (* 1896 in Montevideo, † 1973 ) was a Uruguayan politician.

Life

Dr. Charlone, who belonged to the Partido Colorado, had 1934-1938 under President Gabriel Terra held the office of Vice - President of Uruguay. After that was August 12, 1949 until November 23, 1950, when he was replaced by Alberto Domínguez Cámpora, Foreign Minister of his home country. Finally, he took over from the October 30, 1967 to April 2, 1970 and again on 26 October of that year until April 16, 1971, the management of the Economy and Finance.
