Cesar Millan

Cesar Millan ( born August 27, 1969 in Culiacan, Mexico) is an American dog trainer and author, who became famous by a TV series as " The Dog Whisperer ".

Life and career

Born in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, Millan moved at age 13 with his family to Mazatlan. At age 21, he immigrated illegally to the United States one, without any knowledge of English or acquaintances there. Supported by Jada Pinkett Smith, he founded the " Pacific Point Canine Academy" and a few years later, the "Dog Psychology Center", a 8100 sq. ft. facility in Los Angeles. On 13 September 2004 his reality TV series " The Dog Whisperer " (English Dog Whisperer ) was first aired on the National Geographic Channel, since July 2009 on Nat Geo Wild in Germany and now also on Sixx. The last mission of the series ran for the first time on July 7, 2012 Since 2013 there is also on Nat Geo Wild, a new series leader of the pack. ( German: Leader of the Pack ).

Millan lives in Santa Clarita. In early June 2010, his wife Ilusión Wilson Millan after 16 years of marriage, filed for divorce.
