Chaim Ozer Grodzinski

Chaim Ozer Grodzinski (Hebrew חיים עוזר גרוז'נסקי; born August 24, 1863 in Iwye, Belarus; † August 9, 1940 in Vilnius ) was a rabbi, Beth Din, Posek and Talmudic scholar in Vilnius in the late 19th and early 20th century. During the 55 years that he carried out his duties, he was regarded as one of the senior Posskim world. He played an important role in the protection of Lithuanian yeshivot during the " Communist era " and rescued yeshivot in Poland and Russia in 1939.
