Chalon-sur-Saône

Chalon -sur -Saône is a town in the French region of Burgundy. It is equipped with 44,847 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011), although the largest town of the department of Saône -et -Loire, but not the county seat, but only the seat of a sub-prefecture. After Dijon Chalon is the second largest city of the Burgundy region.

History
