Chancey Juday

Chancey Juday ( born May 5, 1871 in Millersburg, Indiana, † March 30, 1944 in Madison, Wisconsin) was an American biologist and co-founder of limnology.

C. Juday graduated from Indiana University 1896 BA and 1897 to M. With the joint publication of their studies in 1911 they laid an important foundation for the limnological science.

Juday was 1927 president of the Ecological Society of America from 1935 to 1936 and president of the American Society Limnological and 1937-1939 President of the Wisconsin Academy of Science, Arts and Letters.
