Channa Ediri Bandanage

Channa Ediri Bandanage (born 22 September 1978) is Sri Lankan football player plays in Ratnam SC Colombo and the Sri Lankan national football team in attack.

Association

With his club Ratnam SC he took part in the 2007 AFC President's Cup and was there with six top scorer of the tournament. In 2008, he was also one of the most successful goalscorers of the same tournament, as he could defeat the opposing keeper three times in the game against Transport United from Bhutan. Since 2009, Channa Ediri Bandanage stands in rows of indigenous to the Maldives Association Maaziya Male.

National

In the South Asian Football Championship 2009 he scored four goals scored together with Emanul Haque Sharif and Ahmed Thariq to the top scorers of the tournament. He met, among others twice in the match against Bhutan, which Sri Lanka won 6-0 in his favor. Also in the same tournament a year before he was able to perpetuate in the statistics as a scorer when he scored against Afghanistan in a 2-2 draw. He also belonged to the squad of Sri Lanka at the AFC Challenge Cup 2008. A total of 55 international appearances for him in the period 2000-2009 recorded. He scored twelve hits.
