Chappal Waddi ( " Death Mountain " ), on the border of the Cameroonian State of Taraba to the Adamawa Nigerian region, with 2419 m the highest mountain in the Mambilla Plateau, and the West African state of Nigeria.

The mountain lies on the southern edge of the Nigerian Gashaka - Gumti National Park, is on the Nigerian side to Gashaka Forest Reserve. Its summit rises about 33 km north- west of the village Banjo (Cameroon) and 44 km (each air line ) southeast of the city, in National Park village Gashaka ( Nigeria).
