Charibert of Laon

Heribert of Laon (also: Charibert ) was Count of Laon and lived in the first half of the 8th century.

His father is unknown, his mother was Bertrada the Elder, the daughter of ( Count Palatine ) Hugo Bert from the family of Hugobertiner and Irmina of Oeren; because Bertrada 721 the founder of the abbey of Prüm was, he was for this facility for patrons.

His daughter was Bertrada the Younger, wife of Pippin the Younger, the Frankish mayor of the palace and later king. This was Heribert of Laon, the maternal grandfather of Charlemagne.
