Charles Bugbee

Charles G. Bugbee ( born August 29, 1887 in Stratford, † October 18, 1959 in Edgware ) was a British water polo player.

Bugbee participated in the Olympic Games in 1912 partly in Stockholm and 1920 in Antwerp, where he won the gold medal both times with the England team. In Stockholm we won the game in the final round 8-0 against Austria and 6:3 against Sweden, the second were ultimately.

In Antwerp, a knock-out tournament was in its final Bugbee with the English team, the Belgian defeated 3-2. After winning the two gold medals Bugbee, who worked in London as a police officer, participated in the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 again in part, but retired with a 6:7 after three extensions against Hungary in the first round.
