Charles Grey, 5th Earl Grey

Charles Robert Grey, 5th Earl Grey ( * December 15, 1879, † April 2, 1963 ) was a British nobleman.

He was the son of Albert Grey, 4th Earl Grey. He applied unsuccessfully in 1910 for a seat in the House of Commons. In 1917 he inherited from his father in the title of Earl Grey and became a member of the House of Lords.

He married in 1906 Lady Mabel Laura Georgiana Palmer, the only daughter of William Waldegrave Palmer, 2nd Earl of Selborne, and had with her two daughters. The title passed to a cousin 2nd degree at his death.
