Charles Leweck

Charles Leweck (born 19 July 1983) is a Luxembourgian football player.

Career

Leweck comes from the work of the junior club Young Boys Diekirch Luxembourg. In 2003 he was engaged by Etzella Ettelbrück and played there until 2010 in 147 games in which he scored 25 goals and 2004 finalist in the Luxembourg Cup competition was. 2010 changed the midfielder and his brother Alphonse to Jeunesse Esch. After just one season, the brothers returned in 2011 to Etzella Ettelbrück back.

Since 2004, Charles Leweck plays for the Luxembourg national football team. He made his debut on 18 August 2004 in the 1-3 defeat against Slovakia.

On the final day of the season 2012/13 Charles Leweck was seriously injured in the game at F91 Dudelange in a collision with Philippe Hahm, the keeper of his own team. Leweck broke eight ribs, one of which pierced the lung.
