Charles Martel Group

The Groupe Charles Martel (also known as Charles Martel Club ) was a right-wing anti-Arab French terrorist organization that had the fight against Algerians goal. She was active in the 1970s and 1980s. Named after the house was the group Meier Charles Martel at the Battle of Tours and Poitiers 732 defeated an Arab army.

The attacks were mainly directed against the property, the business of Algerians or French algerischstämmigen. Also, the Algerian government institutions were attacked.

The enmity between the two peoples came from the Algerian War ( 1954-1962 ). Algeria had been over a hundred years French colony or part of the French State. In particularly bloody war of independence led the Algerian people gained its freedom from the French government. Several French -born Algerians (so-called Pied- noir ) fled to France after independence.
