Charles Tyrwhitt LLP based in London, is a British mail order for men's wear.
Background
The company was founded in 1986 by Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler as a shop for men's shirts. Due to favorable pricing, the company grew rapidly. Tyrwhitt Shirts also sold alongside ties, shoes and English and Italian suits. In addition, there are now a range of casual wear as well as a women's collection.
The first shop was opened in 1997 in Jermyn Street 89. Currently maintains Charles Tyrwhitt 23 stores worldwide, including three in New York City and one in Paris. The Handelsblatt called the company in 2008 as a " figurehead of the London Jermyn Street." With the online sales Tyrwhitt began in the 2000s.
