Charlie Brooker (ice hockey)

Charles Brooker ( born March 25, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Career

Charles Brooker began his career as a hockey player in the youth team of the Waterloo Hurricanes of the Ontario Hockey Association, for which he was active from 1950 to 1952. From 1952 to 1958, the attackers played at senior level for the Amateur Hockey Team Kitchener- Waterloo Dutchmen. With the team he won in 1953 and 1958 respectively to the Allan Cup, the Canadian Amateur Championship. In the season 1956/57, he also played in five playoff games for the Stratford Indians. With the Kitchener- Waterloo Dutchmen, he represented Canada at the Olympic Winter Games 1956. According break of several years he joined from 1961 to 1963 again for the Kitchener-Waterloo Tigers at.

Internationally

For Canada Brooker took part in the Winter Olympics 1956 in Cortina d' Ampezzo, where he won the bronze medal with his team.
