  • APRIL 24: The same held municipal elections in Styria and Carinthia, as well as the state elections in Lower Austria, Salzburg and Vienna, the Nazis bring strong electoral gains.
  • May 27: In the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck Höttinger the brawl prompts the first dead Nazis in Austria.

  • December 19: In a test drive of the Flying Hamburger shortens the travel time on the railway line between Berlin and Hamburg to 142 minutes. The high-speed railcars used runs regularly from 15 May 1933.
