Ernest Ranglin

Ernest Ranglin ( born June 19, 1932 in Manchester / Jamaica) is a Jamaican ska and jazz guitarist.

Life and work

Ranglin plays in childhood passionate Ukelele, in his youth, he occurs in Jamaica and the Bahamas - often with the musician Monty Alexander. His musical career began in the fifties, as with many Caribbean musicians as guitarist and arranger in Jamaican hotel bands that play a mix of styles of jazz and Caribbean rhythms to entertain the tourists.
