Enzo Mari

Enzo Mari ( * 1932 in Novara, Italy ) is an Italian designer and object artist.

Life and work

Mari became known through his work for the Italian company Danese, Gavina, Artemide, Olivetti and Castelli. In addition, through his numerous publications on topics of design.

He taught at the Polytechnic in Milan, at the Center for Visual Communication in Parma, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara and the Umanitaria in Milan; Honorary Professor in the Department of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg. In 1968 he participated in the documenta 4 in Kassel.

He lives and works in Milan.
