Ludwig Minelli

Ludwig Amadeus Minelli ( born December 5, 1932 in Zurich ) is a Swiss lawyer and journalist. At first he was a journalist with the Zurich newspaper Die Tat ( 1956-59 ), then at the tabloid view (1959 /60), it assistant manager in the Munich publishing house Kindler & Schier Meyer (1960 /61), the editor of a domestic service of UPI in Zurich (1961 -64 ) and Switzerland first correspondent of the mirror ( 1964-74 ).

It was late, he studied law at the University of Zurich ( completion 1981) and was 54 years lawyer specializing in human rights. In 1978 he founded the Swiss Society for the European Human Rights Convention ( SGEMKO ). The as " Minelli I" (BGE 99 Ia 262), " Minelli II " (BGE 102 Ia 279) and " Minelli III " (BGE 118 Ia 64) known judgments of the Federal Court are important for the living conditions of prisoners.
