Charlie Hall (actor)

Charlie Hall ( born August 19, 1899 in Birmingham, England; † December 7, 1959 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California ) was a British film actor. Hall gained great notoriety as the "little Nemesis " by Laurel and Hardy, whose most frequent supporting actor, he was in nearly 50 films.

Life

Charlie Hall was a skilled carpenter, but resigned already as a teenager at the Fred Karno vaudeville troupe, which also Charles Chaplin, Stan Laurel and Will Hay began their careers.
