Charlotte Chandler

Charlotte Chandler, actually Lyn Erhard, is an American biographer and playwright. She has written biographies of Groucho Marx, Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Federico Fellini, Alfred Hitchcock, Ingrid Bergman, Mae West, Marlene Dietrich and Billy Wilder. Her works often feature unusual quotes of deceased celebrities, of whom Chandler claims to have personally interviewed, their statements occasionally contradict other biographies.
