Charlotte Stewart

Charlotte Stewart ( born February 27, 1941 in Yuba City, California, USA) is an American actress.

During her time in high school, she hosted the radio program Teen Time. In the early 1960s, she studied acting at the College of Theater Arts in Pasadena, California, where Dabbs Greer, her partner taught series Little House in the 1940s from the family series.

One of her first role was played by Stewart in 1968 as Lori in an Elvis Presley movie titled Speedway. The actress is best known for the role of the teacher Miss Beadle in the television series Little House, which she played from 1974 to 1978. It was her first role in an ongoing television series. During a season break, she joined in 1977 in the horror film Eraserhead, where she took on the role of Mary X, who brings a monster to the world. David Lynch, who directed the film already in Eraserhead, it was then that Stewart In 1990, the role of Betty Briggs in the cult TV series Twin Peaks. That same year, Stewart also played a role in the horror comedy Tremors - The Tremors in, in which she played on the side of Kevin Bacon.

From 1965 to 1972 Stewart was married to the former child actor Tim Considine. On stage, she has also performed under the name Charlotte Considine. Since 1992 she has been married to David Banks.
