Chaswe Nsofwa

Chaswe Nsofwa ( born October 22, 1978, † 29 August 2007 Beersheba, Israel ) was a Zambian footballer.

He played as a striker in different clubs and the national team of Zambia. In his career he has been used in at least 33 international matches and scored nine goals. In 2002 he played with the national team at the Africa Cup and won the 2006 Zambia COSAFA Cup.

On 29 August 2007 Nsofwa collapsed during a training game at Hapoel Be'er Sheva his club in Israel. The 28 -year-old died later at a cardiac arrest.
