The Rivière Châteauguay (in the U.S.: Chateaugay River) is a right tributary of the St. Lawrence River in the Canadian province of Quebec and in the U.S. state of New York.

The river has its origin in the Upper Chateaugay Lake in Franklin County ( New York). It flows north to Canada.
