Chauriat

Chauriat is a commune with 1579 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the Puy -de- Dôme in the Auvergne region.

Location

Chauriat is the Limagne at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level. inst about 20 km ( driving distance ) east of Clermont- Ferrand and about 35 kilometers north of Issoire.

  • The former parish church of the village, the Église Sainte- Marie, is in close proximity to the church of St -Julien.
