The Great Chazy River is a tributary of Lake Champlain in Clinton County in the U.S. state of New York.

The Great Chazy River has its origin in Chazy Lake in the northeastern foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. From there it flows in a north- northeasterly direction. It flows through the Miner Lake in the same State Park. Then the Great Chazy River passes through the town of Altona. In Mooers Fork of the North Branch Great Chazy River empties into the left side of the river.
