Chedorlaomer

Chedorlaomer (or Kedor Laomer ) was in the Tanakh (Genesis 14, 1-16 ) mentioned mighty king, said to have been defeated by Abraham in a campaign for the liberation of Lot. Outside the Bible Chedorlaomer is not mentioned.

Biblical Relevance

Chedorlaomer was king of Elam, and was with the rulers Amraphel of Shinar, Arioch of Ellasar and Tidal king of nations, allied .. Twelve years they subjugated five kings, among whom was Bera and Birsha the rulers of Sodom and Gomorrah were located. In the thirteenth year, as reported by the Book of Genesis, are said to have started this to put up a fight against oppression.
