Chemical transport reaction

The phenomenon of chemical transport (chemical transport reaction ) based on a chemical equilibrium reaction, in which at least two gaseous components, the so-called transport and the gas phase complex and a liquid or solid component (which is to be transported material ) are involved. If the balance is not "extreme" is, that is, if you can change the direction of the chemical reaction by moderate temperature change can be in special vessels, the two different temperate zones included ( transport containers ), substances far below its boiling point or sublimation point about the transporting vapor phase from one zone to the other.

The chemical transport was (Münster / Westphalia Univ. ) Initially introduced as a method of crystal synthesis and crystal growth in the 1950s by Prof. Harald Schäfer and treated theoretically in this context; modern chemistry and chemical engineering would not be possible without him.
