Chen Lin (singer)

Chen Lin (Chinese陈琳, Pinyin Chen Lin, born January 31, 1970 in Chongqing, † October 31, 2009 in Beijing) was a Chinese singer who campaigned against child poverty in China.

Her debut album sold only in the People's Republic of 1.5 million times. They also participated in the project Encounters - An Alliance for Children by Peter Maffay. It supported the organization Project Hope the China Youth Development Foundation (中国 青少年 发展 基金会) and the Organisation Chengdu research base of giant panda breeding.

Emotional problems were the reason that Chen on October 31, committed suicide in 2009.
