Chen Weixing

Chen Weixing (Chinese陈 卫星/陈 卫星, Pinyin Chén Weixing, * April 27, 1972, Inner Mongolia, People's Republic of China) is an Austrian table tennis player of Chinese descent, who plays for several years at SVS Lower Austria. He found in China an opportunity to develop his style, table tennis and therefore went to Europe (initially Hungary, then Germany and later Austria ). In October 2000, he received the Austrian citizenship.

Life

Chen Weixing is considered one of the best defensive players in the world (Top Twenty rankings ). In China, he brought it to the number 15, which was too little for this country to come to train internationally.

In Germany Chen Weixing played from 1999 to 2001 (2 seasons), coming from the Austrian TTV Hornstein, in the TTG RS Hoengen before joining SVS Lower Austria.

• Double European Champion 2002
• Vice European Champion team in 2005
• ETTU European Cup in 2000, won the TTG RS Hoengen.

Chen Weixing is married to Xue Weixing and two daughters.
