Chère

The River at Mouais

The Chère is a river in France, which is predominantly in the Pays de la Loire, but also affects the neighboring region Bretagne. It rises in the municipality of Soudan, drained generally in a westerly direction and joins after 65 kilometers at the boundary of the municipality of Sainte -Anne- sur -Vilaine and Pierric as a left tributary of the Vilaine. On their way the Chère crosses the department of Loire- Atlantique and constitutes about on the last ten kilometers upstream of the mouth the border to the neighboring department of Ille- et- Vilaine, which already belongs to the region of Brittany.
