Chet Walker

Chester Walker ( born February 22, 1940 in Benton Harbor, Michigan), known as Chet The Jet, is a former American professional basketball player. Between 1962 and 1975 he played in the NBA for the teams Syracuse Nationals / Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls. He reached the playoffs in all 13 years. Walker was 1.98 m tall and played on the position of small forward. At the end of the season 1962/63 Walker was nominated for his performance in the first year in the NBA All- Rookie Team. He was part of the 1967 championship team the Sixers that ended the supremacy of the Boston Celtics. In 2012 he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
