Choćmirówko

Choćmirówko ( German New Gutzmerow ) is a village in the powiat Słupski the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

Choćmirówko located in Pomerania, about 26 kilometers east of the city Ustka ( Stolpmünde ), eight kilometers south-east of Lake Garder and eleven kilometers southwest of Lebasees.

History

The Manor New Gutzmerow, formerly called Nigen Gitzmerow, is an ancient fief of the Wobeser family, who had owned before 1485. 1684 came the Well change at the Stojentin family. In 1709 it belonged to Johann George of Stojentin, and in 1774 it was sold to Friedrich Graf von Werssowitz. To 1784 there were in New Gutzmerow a Vorwerk, three farmers, three Kossäten and on the field Mark a wooden keeper's dwelling and a total of ten households. In 1854 the estate of Bernhard Franz Scheunemann was bought. It was a farming village from it. 1925 were 23 houses in the village.

Before 1945, the village of New Gutzmerow to the Official District Bandsechow district Stolp, administrative region of Pomerania, Pomerania belonged. In 1939, the municipal area was 385 acres, and there were 41 households and 169 inhabitants counted. In the village there were a total of 23 agricultural Betribebe.

Towards the end of World War II New Gutzmerow was occupied on March 9, 1945 by the Red Army and soon found it under Polish administration. In April 1945, the first Poles arrived in the village, and in September 1945, most farms had already been adopted. The inhabitants were expelled on 16 December 1946 and on 25 April 1947. The village was renamed Choćmirówko.

After the war, 48 displaced from New Gutzmerow villagers were determined in the Federal Republic of Germany and 97 in the GDR.

In 2006 Choćmirówko had 120 inhabitants.
