Chocolat (singer)

Chocolat (Japaneseショコラ, Shokora; * February 15, 1978 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese singer and former fashion model.

She debuted in 1997 under Epic Records with the single Chocolat a la mode. It is a twin, her younger sister Heaco is also a singer. In 1998 she married musician Akito Kayatose of the band GREAT3 in Hawaii. 2000 she moved to Warner Bros. and took over the single PORCH with her husband under the name Akito Katayose featuring Chocolat on. From 2005 they founded the group Chocolat & Akito.
